Our swim team depends on the involvement and participation of all families to ensure that our swim meets run smoothly. If your child participates in a swim meet, a parent/guardian must fill at least one volunteer shift for each meet. Most slots are for ½ of the meet. Parents of older swimmers, please sign up for second half volunteer slots. Parents of younger swimmers are given priority to fill first half volunteer slots. Many families fill in more than one slot because there are so many needs for each meet and throughout the season.
We are dependent upon all families participating to support the team, so this requirement must not be neglected. Job descriptions can be found under Volunteer Postitions. Families that do not sign up for volunteer slots will be assigned slots to serve in.
Failure to fulfill this responsibility, without prior coordination with our Volunteer Coordinator (Kristie Bernard) may result in a monetary fine and/or non-swim status for your swimmer in subsequent meets and/or practices.
*Note that this includes the County Championship Meet. If your child qualifies for the County Meet (July 13th and 14th), each family will be assigned a volunteer role to fulfill at the meet.
